Turns out my new job is keeping me a lot busier than I thought...
For now I'm putting off doing any major work on the site until next year, so updates will be scarce for a little while. I'll get there though, I'll get there.

Well there's a bit of news to report. Firstly, I quit my job last week and started a new one today. Because of that there won't be much in the way of updates for a little while, I don't have net access from work just at the moment (I'm in training for the next couple weeks).
I've also been neglecting this site a lot over the last month and a bit to work on comicsauce, but I've gotten a HUGE amount done there. It'll still be a little while until it's ready for use, I've got a bunch of batch scripts to run and they're taking several hours each, but it should be well on the way to being finished sometime over the next few months.

Over my days off I finished and uploaded a mini-issue to accompany the first issue of The Supe Kitchen. It's available from the issues page.
I can't be certain, but it could be the first ever rendition of Lego terrorists. ^_^

To kick off the launch of The Supe Kitchen I've set it up with it's own homepage, and redesigned the headers to include a button.
The homepage will always contain the cover of the latest issue, link on to the rest of the issue, and back to the start of the previous issue. I'm not sure if this is the best design for it yet, but I'll figure that out when I've got another book ready to upload.

The first issue of The Supe Kitchen is now uploaded and available on the Issues page!
Unfortunately any work on issue #2 will have to wait a couple weeks, since I've been stuck with a hellish roster at work and won't have a lot of time free.
I've also started a scrapbook section for the site, which will contain various snippets of work I've done, this is well under way and should have enough ready for viewing in the next few weeks.
Oh, and I managed to fix up the pope, and will be applying a coat of clear varnish this afternoon to prevent coffee related damage again in the future.

Dammit, my custom made lego pope got doused in coffee, so now I have to make a new one. That'll slow down work on the Supe Kitchen, since he's one of the main characters in the next scene. His hat survived though, which was by far the hardest part to make, so it's not a total loss.
I also got a package yesterday that contained the new lego Dwarfs and Orcs, which are very cool (also only available in the US, so anyone else down under will have to wait until '08 to get theirs ^_^). I haven't had much of a chance to do anything with them yet, but I threw together one comic last night, which is available here. The photography is pretty poorly done though, since I didn't have a background ready I could use, and my camera distorts whenever I photograph a plain colour.

I made a ton of progress on the Supe Kitchen last night, and finally (after 3 years) got around to learning to draw with something other than MS Paint...
I also did the spam thing today and signed up for all the webcomic lists. There are vote buttons in the info section. I'm not proud.

My first full issue is finally underway! I spent a bunch of time over the weekend working on my new comic- The Supe Kitchen. So far I've got all the photos done for the first half a dozen pages, and I've added various touches to almost all of them- motion lines, sound effects, etc... - which is a lot of work since I open with a large fight scene.
It'll likely be a while until it's finished though, but I'm considering putting out some preview pages in the meantime.

Well, it seems this place is finally up and running!
I've redesigned it a few times since I wasn't happy with various aspects, but this time I like both the design and the way the code's written!
I've left out the forum completely, since it was a pain to stop spam bots, but I've added back in a few of the older pages as well as a 5-at-a-time archive feature.
Well, time to get back to making comics I guess ^_^
